Will AutoRX stop some oil leaks??

I have leaks coming from all my seals pretty much the oil pan and cam seals. The leak is little drop here and there. I heard good things about this product. Anyone have good results using auto RX?? I dont have the money to do anymore repairs esp big ones like these for the mean time. thanks

Haven't heard of AutoRX but have used stop-leak products in the past. If the issue is older dry seals, they will help, but if the issue is wear, probably not.

But those seals are not expensive, if you have the time and knowhow. And how's your valve cover gasket BTW?

What oil weight are you using now?

I use a mix of sta-dri and sawdust, slowly add it through the hole in the valve cover with the engine @ 2500rpm to make sure it mixes evenly with the oil.

I'm also a huge fan of just replacing the offending gaskets. Even if you have very little experience with cars you can at least tackle the gaskets on these engines. If the valve cover and head look a mess, start with the valve cover gasket. Its a good small job to get your feet wet in auto repair. You might even find it rewarding to be able to fix your own car and save money too.

just finished doing the valve cover gasket myself it is an easy job just dont have the time to do the oil pan and cam seals caz its leaking on the left and right side of the car. Im probably gonna do it when i do the timing belt again which i just did 2years ago. My car is a 1990 with 162000 hawaii miles. I use 10-30w oil with a bottle of lucas which kinda slowed the oil leak. thanks for the input guys!!!!
