  • Sway Bar Bushings II

    Hi All......
I am about to replace the two front Sway Bar Bushings on my 1989 Festiva LX. Can't seem to find the stock ones anymore. There are generic replacements with Urethane insides, supposedly better than the stock rubber.....some with grease fittings and some without. It appears to me that the grease fittings would hang down and soon be knocked off. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Not really sure why you would need grease fitting on those bushings. I think I'd just go with the standard models. Like you say, depending on where the fittings are, they are likely just to be crap catchers until they get broken off.

If you decide to go with the generic urethane bushings, modify them like this.
