Are All Festiva Clutch Cables Alike?

I busted my clutch cable the other evening on my 93 L. I power shifted home. :-) I ordered a replacement cable from: http://www.autopartswarehouse.com I was a little bit hesitant to order from one of these gigantic online auto parts stores, but I figured they wouldn't screw it up. I was wrong. I received the cable and took it to my buddy who is a mechanic at the Ford dealership. There was no way it was going to fit. It was just too different. My question is this: Do all Festivas have the same clutch cable or do they vary?

P.S. If any one is interested in a new clutch cable that is supossed to fit a 93 Festiva, I have one to sell. Thanks.

Off all the festiva's i've owned, even the aspires the cables look the same. I could be wrong on that though. I wonder if they even sent you the right cable.

advance and autozone both have these. I've never bought one from them but it would be easier to exchange than from a mail order.

I think you are right. They probably sent the wrong cable. I'll go to Auto Zone tomorrow. That's what I get for trying to save a few bucks. Thanks for getting back to me.
