Speedometer Cable Help

My speedometer cable recently stopped working. I'd like to replace the cable with a new one. It seems Rock Auto has one cable for $6 and another for $23. The link and my questions are below. As always, thanks again in advance!

1) Will either of these cables work? I'd rather get the cheaper one if possible.

2) Both cables are listed under 1988, but I have a 1989. They should be the same right?

The cheaper one should work, and the cable for the 88 should be the same for a 89.

The ATP part says it fits:
FORD FESTIVA L 1988
FORD FESTIVA LX 1988
MITSUBISHI MIRAGE (1985 - 1988 )
MITSUBISHI MIRAGE L (1985 - 1987)
MITSUBISHI MIRAGE LS (1986 - 1987)
TOYOTA COROLLA DLX 1984
TOYOTA COROLLA LE 1984
TOYOTA COROLLA SPORT DLX 1984
TOYOTA COROLLA SPORT SR5 1984

Where as the Dorman part says it fits:
FORD FESTIVA GL (1991 - 1993)
FORD FESTIVA L (1988 - 1993)
FORD FESTIVA L PLUS 1990
FORD FESTIVA LX (1988 - 1990)

I know I'd like to know if the speedo cable from the mirage or corolla will fit, but if I were you I'd bite the bullet and get the doramn part.

Or get both, for and extra $6 (plus likely extra shipping) just to see if the festiva, mirage, and corolla share the same speedo.
