88L no pwer?

Ok it is a 88 L 4 speed stock every thing. Ok i got this car from tony cash back in may i think any ways the car had been sitting since 98 until last year when i bought it. I got it running and rebuilt the carb and it started to run really good, but yesterday night i started it up and had it running for a half hour then shut it off went to work. Came home like 6 hours later and started the car again. Well it was ideling super high so i taped the gas and it started to idle down a bit, then started to drop fast and dided so i went to start it up agian and nothing no lights in dash nothing in side the car no wipers just the head lights work. so i put jumpers on it and still same resaults. I am thinking it is the ingition switch, but am not sure. Waht would you guys think?

check all your fuse links and fuse panel in car

I did that and all good.

Ok changed the ingition switch and same resaults. So i don't know what it it, but i undid the - post and will see if starts up in ahalf hour since it has a ecu. See if it was just being a but. lol

OK still nothing it is so weird so im going to swap the ecu out with my 89 carbed ecu and see what i get.

Well cleaned the ground cable. Then swaped the fuisble links and then swaped the block for the them and now it runs. So I got it going.

Most people overlook the simple things like battery cables and such. Glad you got it fixed.
