No dash lights?????

I was driving the other day and all the suden i had no dash lights. I figured I blew a fuse but I couldnt find any that was blown. Is there just one place that there are fuses? or is there some other reason I dont have dash lights? Thanks!

could have a bad dimmer switch. Mine burnt up before when I had a bad ground in my cluster.

I dont know. I dont have a radio hooked up and there was some bare wires hangin and I remember one sparked. then thats when I lost the lights. but I just thought those wires was radio wires....I blacked taped them up now but still dont have lights

do your cluster lights work? or is it just the ones in the heater control area that are out?

its the cluster. When im driving at night. its complete darkness inside

If they are all out pull your dimmer switch and inspect it and smell it. If its smells/looks burnt get another from a junkyard.

I had the same issue, seems as though when you get a short the fuse doesn't stop it from frying the dimmer switch.

The thumb roller? Is that easy to get out? I never really paid attention to it

Did you check the Tail Fuse(15 amp), I think that is the one that goes to the cluster not the Room Fuse.

yeah, it just pops out and its got those tab things holding it in. If your worried about breaking something just take your speaker out and depress the tabs from behind. Like I said if its the problem the back of it will smell burnt.

Nope didnt check that one. but im going to now! I thought it was the room fuse. thats the only one that made sense to me. but thanks!!

Let me know what you come up with for the answer because I am having the exact same problem. My cluster lights and shifter lights (automatic) do not work at all, but the glowing tail lights do come on when the headlights are turned on. Here are several things that I have tried so far with no luck ( maybe it will work for you):
1) Light Dimmer Switch
2) Park relay
