    Hey what's every1 I just picked a 89 lx in great shape even the power mirrors work also has ac clean inside n out but she won't start preivious owner said radiator leakin and that it just cut off while driving and it sat for three months so I bought for only 375 that don't sound to bad but back to my question where do I start to check this thing out last night I poorer water in radiator ans it's leakin but it cranks fine just won't start it has gas and I noticed at with the key on if I press gas pedal right pass 3/4 I can hear I click noise u let go of gas then press her again and u hear a click is this normal ? Thanks any info would help thanks again

          The click you hear is the kickdown switch for the transmission. Completely normal.

              Try replacing the fusible links with cartidge fuses 30-40-30 Amp, sometimes they get corroded and don't have a good connection.

                Did you pull the fuel line to the rail and see if gas came out when you cranked it?

                Did you check for spark by pulling a plug wire and seeing the spark?

                        Ok here we go I put fuses insted of the fusable links good ther then I checked for spark good ther gettin good spark then I took the hose off goin to fuel rail and cranked it gas shot out so we good ther soo .....what else should I check thanks every1

                          So you have spark and fuel and it cranks over. Is the MAF bad?
