radiator repair

I have a 1995 ford aspire 4dr with 100k miles. The upper radiator hose connector on the radiator side is broken. Is there a way to fix or replace the connector without replacing the whole radiator?

You probably are going to need a new radiator, since the broken part is plastic.

However, you could try JB Weld or something and see what that does.

JB Weld might hold for a little while, but as soon as you get cocky and rev it hard or miss a shift, it will screw ya!

True.

I'd only use it as a temporary fix until the radiator can be replaced. I should've mentioned that in my original post.

Most reputable radiator shops can replace just the tank end that is broke ,but do a comparison, some radiators are cheaper for new than they are to replace tanks those plastic tanks have a gasket in between the core and tank , If you do the j-b thing turn your radiator cap a 1/4 turn to the first notch that will not let it build up too much psi and it will not leak either ,it won't let pressure blow out your temp repair.

clarification

It is only the little black plastic piece on the top of the radiator that connects to the upper radiator hose that is broken. The tanks and other components appear to be fine. Also is there a way to get a metal piece to replace the black plastic?

All the radiators these days are all plastic tanks, have been for quite some time like the late 80's, did you check and compare prices yet on tank replace vs radiator
