two questions about my speed sensor.

    1. the metal cable pulled out of the hose. will it work if i just slide it back up all the way or do i have to tear apart my dash to hook it up?

2> there was a used speed sensor in my new tranny. the gear thing is locked. i cant get it to budge. it wont rotate. how can i get it to rotate freely like my old one?

    1. Yes you can slide the cable back in. Try a twisting motion and it will help the cable from binding.

    2. Try using an adjustable wrench...open it up to fit and GENTLY twist it.

I always apply penetrating oil before trying to remove stuck parts.

You can make a cheap penetrating oil by mixing solvent (eg Varsol or paint thinner) and lubricating oil half-and-half.

i really enjoy working on them. i always feel like i missed something though when i put it back together, so i triple check everything and im nervous driving for a few days lol.

i figured out if you drop the front brackets on the sway bar, its hella easy to hook the control arms up to the hubs.

getting the subframe to line back up was sorta a pain as well, but i got it.

Just glad you report back when something works, or doesn't!
Many times we get no feedback.
Then the same person is back months later asking for more help and I, for one, 'am not too likely to assist them again.
