    Will 323 ATX fit a Capri?

    A friend has a Mercury Capri in his shop that needs the automatic transmission replaced. We haven't been able to find anything locally but we've only been looking for Capri parts. Does the 323 use the same transmission? Is there any other Mazdas that would have a transmission that would fit the Capri?

    should be the same trans. at least it'll bolt up to the engine.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

      Thanks man! This should really help with the search! There's way more 323's in the yards here than Capris.
