I have a 93 that i am leaking lots of oil from (thinking front main). I have an 88 sitting around, can I use that block and transfer the intake, dist, etc..

Yes. But I would replace all the gaskets and water pump and timing belt. Remember it's a 20+ year old motor. An '88 motor is gonna fit and work except for the front pulley. I'll send you the p[roper one, and buy yours (pulley) if you'd like. the 93 pullies work for motor swaps
