  • Valve Cover Baffle

Have serious blowby and removed valve cover to check for blockages

Does the baffle plate in the top of cover attached with several small
bolts suppose to have a gasket? Someone had siliconed baffle before
attaching with bolts. Have seen mention of extra plate and bolt. Is
this the small about 1" square baffle in front corner on driver side of
cover? Any replacement pvc that would improve condition? THANKS
    for your input!

I removed all the baffles on my BP valve cover and they did have silicone gaskets (stock). After cleaning everything really well I used FIPG I had laying around in the garage and it worked very well.
Not sure about the B3 vc though.

some valve cover gasket kits include the paper gasket for the plate
      no silicone needed at all

only suggestion for the blow-by problem: new piston rings

I took my plate off and cleaned under it. When I put the plate back on, I used a very thin bead of black silicone. That's what looked like was there. I see no reason that won't work in any case.
