    Spark plug wires!
    How old are yours?
When they get real bad, your car wont even start when it gets damp!

It was moisture in the distributor cap causing corrosion and crap for me. Got so bad I had a backfire that blew my muffler wide open.

as mech and John said....plug wires and cap...cap might have a crack in it you can not see. No need to take it somewhere and spend even more money. Just get some wires and a new cap and rotor. Should solve the problem.

Why do you do this? does it protect from corroding? Any type of grease works?
