you will see a single wire sender on the t-stat housing, that is the fan switch. Coming out of the wiring harness in the same location and to your left looking at the cylinder head near number 4 spark plug you will see another single wire sensor. That is the coolant temp sensor that operates the gauge. Hope that helps.91 Festiva GL "Scrat"

Provided the system is working correctly.
