My Festiva has a hose that goes nowhere and a wire that just ends?
Its an 1989 Festiva L, it has a black hose that looks like it used to be attached to something and a little red wire that doesn't go anywhere. Here is a picture of what I am talking about. Can someone explain what these are for and what I should do?

See the black hose with the blue dashed line coming out of the blue solenoid on the firewall, the one on the right end of the bracket? That's the same hose.

Is that the red wire coming out of the back of the alternator?
It appears to go into a round device on the back of the carburettor. If that's the one I've seen it mentioned here before so someone will know it's purpose and where it goes.

Your air filtre lid needs a coat of paint.
