Rear windshield wiper installation

Hi, I drive a 93 Festiva which came from the factory without a rear windshield wiper. I see a place for a fuse to go, and I have a parts car equipped with a rear wiper. I was wondering if anyone has ever installed a rear wiper, and what exactly needs to be done (ie: wiring, holes cut, etc.) Any help would be great, thanks.

Just take the parts car apart and see. I'm sure you'll need to drill a hole for the wiper/motor drive. Not sure about the wiring, did all cars come ready for this?

The job would be much easier if you just swapped the complete hatch. You would still have to install the washer reservoir, filler pipe, hose and pump but you wouldn't have to drill any holes.
