  • Steering problem

Well it's not a festiva but I just got a 91 ford ranger 4x4. I had just fixed some leaky brake lines on it and took it for a test drive. When I drove it around 15-20mph the car veered to the left. I pulled the wheel back straight but every time I turn the wheel left it jerks itself left and stays pulling to the left until I correct it. I'm not used to the old-style steering since it's not a rack and pinion steering so I need some suggestions.

sounds like a sticking or frozen left front brake caliper to me.

Did you bleed all 4 wheels starting with the RR first? If not it may be just a bit of air that got caught in the proportioning valve and found it's way to the right front wheel and that caliper isn't working as well as the left.
