Well it's not a festiva but I just got a 91 ford ranger 4x4. I had just fixed some leaky brake lines on it and took it for a test drive. When I drove it around 15-20mph the car veered to the left. I pulled the wheel back straight but every time I turn the wheel left it jerks itself left and stays pulling to the left until I correct it. I'm not used to the old-style steering since it's not a rack and pinion steering so I need some suggestions.

sounds like a sticking or frozen left front brake caliper to me.
Did you bleed all 4 wheels starting with the RR first? If not it may be just a bit of air that got caught in the proportioning valve and found it's way to the right front wheel and that caliper isn't working as well as the left.Last edited by kartracer46; 05-14-2010, 09:08 PM.91 Festiva GL "Scrat"
