Loud steering squel

My steering has a pretty loud rubber squeal, especially when cranking it to the right. It appears to be from the steering column at the fire wall?????

Anyone aware of that problem with the Festiva, only has a few hundred miles on the service sticker and 49,000 on the odometer.

Maybe a squirt of WD-40 should do the trick??? :!)

upper mount for the strut??....it is like a bearing where the strut turns when you turn the wheels.
