  • Idle Air Control Valve Needed

Supposedly this is what is causing the check engine light to come on. Idle does change a lot. Can't locate used and new is $500. Any ideas? Junkyards here refuse to separate from the engines they have. This is a 1997 Aspire with 60K air conditioning and manual transmission.

We've hit a snag. I cannot find any parts #s for the Festy IAC. I did find that the same IAC fits all Aspires from '94-'97. I figured since '90-93 Festiva motors were the same as the '94-95 Aspire motor, the IAC would be the same. Unfortunately, after talking to Aspireguy95 and FB71, I do not think that is the case. That's what you get when a Supermodel starts thinking!

I'm going to continue doing some checking.
