I think I know the answer but, will this thing plug right in and work? judging from the other stuff I saw when removing the cluster it looks like it is wired for everything no matter what trim level.

right, but if you cluster has no tach you need to move the cable from where it is now, to the right side of that hole, i did mine from under the dash, just tugged it hard and pulled it all behind the dash, then fed it in so it will go straight shot to the speedo plug. -
