tires for 93 Festiva

Does anyone have experience purchasing tires for a Festiva from JCWhitney.com?

Their online catalog lists tires for Festivas that also work on Kharman Ghia, original Beetle and other older cars including Festivas, but they don't look like the tires on my 93 Festiva and the comments which were excellent weren't from Festiva owners.

Not sure where you are located, but they seem a bit pricey to me. I get mine mounted, balanced, new valve stems, and on the car for about 50 bucks a tire. They look like a decent tire, tho. Guess I'm just used to living in an area where there are a lot of Festies still on the road, so things like tires are still pretty available.

FWIW, if you go under your User CP, you can put in your location. May help in the future if you have questions. Might also be someone near you who can help you get a better deal on your tires. Just a thought. Oh, and welcome aboard!!!

I looked for you and the ones listed are 165-15. No way will they fit a stock Festiva wheel.
VW bug yes but Festiva NO! Check with your local tire dealer. Also lots of stock 13-14 inch wheels from a junkyard will be a cheap option for upgrading wheel/tires.

I have 4 tires I can sell you if you are somewhere close...

I just got 4 new 155r12's , SONAR, S780 black walls for $28 ea from a tire distributor. So add $14 a tire for mount, balance and disposal fee and I paid $42 ea for mine.
