Just thought I would post up some pics of the best part of the trip, lol.

        Located in North Olmsted, Ohio.

Southside slopes sandwich. Voted #5 best sandwich in the USA by Maxim magazine! Thats not my soda btw. I got the Rocketman red ale and took a growler of headhunter ipa home for my dad for father's day.

The dissection. Kielbasa topped with sautéed pierogies
and onions, American cheese and Horsey Sauce with a side of fresh hand cut chips. This thing was almost the size of my head...

We could use google mymaps to create a listing with names and locations of FF.com members around the US/World and just PM each other the unlisted URL?

I think it would be easier to just have a list and be able to print it out and put it in the glove box. I don't have internet on my phone .
We could organize it by city and by state/region within the state i.e.

big_ty2003, Tyler, Toledo, Northwest Ohio, 419-290-XXXX (cell)

and everyone just adds to it and when we are all done we can print it out.

We just need someone to open a hidden forum on here for it and we would be in business

I vote for all of the above. A google map with points for each member would be great as I have google maps on my phone and I believe I could import it. A simple list would be great to fall back on when technology fails or is unavailable.

Glad the day ended up being so positive. When does the diagnosis and repair start? I vote drain the gas tank first since you said you didnt have much left anyway. Then pull the pump and check out the sock. Ill see if I can find my old pump.

We have a " Travel Assistance " program on one of the Biker forums I'm on. It list only people that are willing to help other board members. The list contains the members forum ID, city, state, and phone number . It also lists what help they can provide ie: Tools, garage, parts, shop, towing, or a place to stay.
If we decide to do this we could call it The F.I.T. list = Festiva In Trouble
                    Just an idea!!

I'd be interested in being a part of a rescue group...

We could call it "FESTIVA FARRIERS"!

I would gladly be a part of this F.I.T. club. I have plenty of spare parts and if not I know where to go to get them fast. Sign me up.

Has caught the most Festivas on Fire on this board!!

I'm in. I have a tow dolly (no tow vehicle yet, but working on that), a garage, spares, and lots of tools. Oh yeah, and knowledge and experience... :p

Festivas In Serious Trouble = F.I.S.T.

We could have the FIST List! "Hey, where's Jim?" "Oh, a Festiva broke down near him, so he's gone FISTing!"

Well being the nerd that I am, I figured out a solution to creating the list and distributing it.

It can be edited, viewed, and printed by users.

It can be accessed from a computer.

It can be accessed from a capable mobile phone.

And, I imported the data into Google Maps so all of the above can be done as well. Except, I don't know how the whole printing it out thing would work out...

Anyways, get in this thread and lets get the ball rolling on it!!

This forum contains announcements and helpful information. Post any site or forum problems here!

I have a suggestion to prevent abuse of this system. Benefits are guarranteed to be extended to 'members', perhaps those who have contributed $10/year to the forum. All other requests for assistance will be filled at the discretion of the volunteering members. Only those who are 'members' would have access to the full list of providers. Thoughts?
