    how do i complete a circuit for my festive wiring harness now that i have K and N intake?

    Wtp??? I am confused could you please elaborate a little more. What wiring? Why would a KandN cause any wiring issues?

      ok i have it disconnected from the vaf and have K and N filter on it and it wont start now how do i complete the circuit so it will register to start?

        put the VAF back on. It won't run without it. There is no way to bypass it.

          well "f word" i took the vaf apart hoping to see if there was a ground then hot wire to complete it and i kinda pull one thing off of the chip inside it and i dont have a sautering iron

            Yeah that was kind of really important lol. Need to buy a filter adapter for it whenever you get it fixed or replaced.

                    i know the spelling is right for that word i just used the first one that came to mind not look it up in the dictionary lol. i saw a friend of mine use a paper clip to complete the circuit for his vaf and it worked why wont it work on a festiva?

                        i havent really done any horrid damage i fixed the connections so i can put the vaf back on but i still want to use the K and N. even if it is a hack job will it do harm to the car or will it just look ugly?

                          Not sure, would have to see your VAF.

                            well on my nissan i just took out the sensor and moved it to another part of the intake when i moved the intake so i thought it would be that easy it wasnt

                              Was it a VAF like our cars or a MAF with the little wire inside?

                              Our cars rely on the VAF to tell the fuel pump to run for one thing...
