ok i know what to do and how, but when i go to line the intake cam up it springs past the mark and i can't get it to stay their. The exhaust cam didn't do this why is the cam doing that and how will i line it up with it not jumping past the mark?

Sometimes it's easier with an extra set of hands. It is tricky to hold everything in position. The cams want to rotate due to the valve springs.

You can tee off the oil pressure switch or there is a plug in the head behind the distributor . Why an oil temp gauge?

Yeah i did the plug in the head.
Because my tach has it built in and i don't want a gauge that don't work in it, so i hooked it it up so it will look nice.
