cooling fan not go on

  • cooling fan not go on

    yesterday i swapt a bp in 93 festiva and all is good but the car overheat and the cooling fan not go on
    i've unplug the cooling fan switch on the thermostat housing and the fan still not working
    i've try to plug the fan right to the battery on it work
    what could be the trouble
    thanks

    ps; the cooling fan switch is the switch from the bp so i have to solder the plug to the festiva harness

    Try using the fan switch from the Festiva engine.

      He said the fan still doesn't come on after unhooking the temp switch. Wouldn't that point towards a relay?

          if my solder to the fan switch arent good ,do the ground is no good if i unplug it

            The fan should run constant if there's no connection to the switch. Its a fail safe thing.

              trouble find it was the conector on the fan was loose and the relay to was loose
