Stuck in 2nd gear

Stuck in 2nd and stick is free floating..... sadddd ... sounds like linkage in tranny is out.. Qand A time guys!!

Look under the car and see if it's all still connected. A bolt could have come out.

all there.. the shifter stills moves the boot to the tranny but im assumeing that inside the tranny the linkage thing broke....

Oh Ok. I'd post a [WTB] in the for sale section, know you can find a e series for cheap....

I bet it's the shift gate inside the trans. Happened to mine once.

I'd agree with Matt on this one. Involves taking the transmission apart to see though.

I have a five speed beside the shed with a broken shift gate, did the same thing....
