Put in new radiator. Found over 9000 leaks.

I purchased a new radiator because my radiator was leaking and the hoses seemed fine. Installed the new radiator put the hoses back on all nice and pour in some coolant. Leaks from multiple hoses. Fix most the hoses except this one aluminum pipe that i dont know what to call it, it carries coolant and is right next to the engine bay behind the radiator. Its about 6 inches long and angles off on both side. Any idea on what this part is called? Anyways now the car wont start either, it turns over and everything just wont start? any ideas on why this might be now? It was starting before when the car was overheating and leaking but now wont start when theres only a small leak?

it carries it to the water pump and to the heater core and a bypass to the thermostate easy to find 93 to 98 ford aspire have them and i think u can get one bran new also let me look

yah i just need to find out what the part is called so i can get a new one from a parts store. Also do you think i could just JB weld it?

The starting issue could be condensation inside the distributer cap...from over heating. Or everything is water soaked. Take off the cap and wipe it out with a dry towel or what not...spray the wires and other electrical connections with wire dry or wd40 to disperse the water.

your out of luck i just found out this is a discontinued part #f4bz18b402a msrp $72.98 discontinued maybe u can get it from mazda or a junk yard if your lucky

So, is the metal pipe leaking, or is the lower rad. hose leaking where it goes into the metal pipe?

I agree with Geneva on pulling the dizzy cap and checking for coolant, assuming the car overheated/sprayed coolant around the engine bay when it started leaking.

Thats the heater bypass right? Anywho, there is a JY near me that I think has one, PM if you want me to check...
