The only brackets I can think of on the tranny are the clutch cable bracket, the starter bracket and there is a bracket for a down pipe support. Im headed your way for some mini golf. We will talk about it then.sigpic

It looks like the bracket that helps support the engine to transmission. The one you have pictured looks like it goes on the side of your engine toward the firewall. Look at where the oil pan attaches to the block at the transmission end of your engine. There should be 2 holes there in the block just above the oil pan. If you match the holes up with the bracket, you should see a hole in the transmission (bell housing) that will match up with the single hole in the bracket. There should be one of these brackets on each side of the engine in the same location. You gonna race that thing?

Unless you are using a transmission other than a Festiva/Aspire, it has to fit. If you have it in the correct position, it should cover the area where the oil pan contacts the block and the 90 degree bend at the end of the plate with one hole should match up to the threaded hole in the transmission. The overall length of the part is 6". If your length is a lot different, your part may be something different than what it looks like it is.You gonna race that thing?

It's always a good idea to take clear pics, show the area from a decent distance and give clear and precise information to what you're working on and doing....
B/c if the experts on here say ????, then your post is not clear.www.cardomain.com/id/jermnc77
