i would like to know if my 93 festiva has ac . itwas freezing before but now it stopped maybe need to refill? where can i locate the thing so i can refill. pictures will help thanks

Well first, if you posted a pic of your engine bay we could tell you if you even have AC or not

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

If this is your Festiva(http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=30147) then it doesn't have A/C, I don't see an A/C compressor in the engine bay pic.

Ah, I read this three times!
I think he knows it has AC, he wants to know if it needs recharged.

Believe me, I had a few smart-hiney remarks, but I was able to suppress the urge to type them, my fingers will heal from being in the car door. It was the only way I could stop from typing them.
Using toes to type now, not as difficult as I first though it was going to be.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but from your engine bay pic's there doesn't seem to be any A.C. lines going to the fire wall. What time of year did it seem that there was cold air comming from the vents.Check the dash there should be an A.C. button next to the fan control nob. good luck.

P.S. thats a good lookin car,

Is it possible that was during the winter?

Because if the above is your car, you do not have AC.

Clearly he has the variable A/C option, in which the A/C only works in the winter.

Edit: why is the VAF pointing straight down?
