  • Thermo/fan problem

A friend , who has a Festy , had a overheating prob. She didn't come to me,she went to someone else.Anyway,I guess this guy hooked up some type of wiring to make fan come on.Wires are pictured on battery.I guess he replaced thermostat and was going to replace fan..Also,he bought the new gasket pictured. He rigged up a few things.Just thought I'd share pics.

Is that the proper installation of the oil pan gasket?
