Update:
Was messing around with fuseable links today while idling and the engine cut when I wiggled the EGI wire. Followed it back the the regulator and cleaned the connector which lead to the best results ever. It cut out once in the 5 minutes I drove it around. Now I've just got to either buy a new regulator or just do a better job cleaning the connector.
