  • Right Hub replacement

Hey guys finally change my passenger hub yesterday. Ok this is the catch the wheel bearing doesnt have any play at all when i grab 9 and 3 or 12 and 3 on the wheel no play at all. When i put the car on jack stands you really can hear a humming noise coming from the right front tire. Sounds like its coming from the transmission and its causing the entire cv axle to vibrate. i had 3 mechanics look at it and they all told me its my auto transmission needing an overhaul. They said the gears are all probably worn out already and needing replacement. Well i had the passenger hub so i guess why not just change it and see if its gonna make a difference. As soon as i changed it no more noise and no more vibration. I spun the old hub and i dont hear anything wrong maybe a little noise but ive heard worst. Well if you guys have this kind of problem its probably your wheel bearings. Well it lasted 170000 miles so i know the other side might have to be changed too but i dont hear anything yet knock on wood. The festy sounds like the day i bought it 12 years ago with only 30K on it. So quiet now its scary hope this will help others with this problem. Funny how the wheel bearing can have no play and no noise when spun yet it can cause a bunch of noise and vibration if its actually bad in a way. Probably was misaligned IDK.
