Blinking lights

When my headlights are on at night ,more noticeable, when I hit my brake or turn on my turn signal my headlights blink almost out but are right back on sometimes the display on the radio will clear like it lost it's memory but will come back on and it is hooked to a constant power supply ,not ignition,even when i put into reverse the backup lights will blink my lights ,I searched but did not find a similar situation,I have all my grounds attached and are tight block,tyranny,everything seems to work OK but when I hit the brakes people think I am flashing my lights.dam I am sorry for the long list ,it must be a habit of report writing gotta paint a good picture right Aithanmier.

have you load tested your alternator???

and fully test your alternator and battery.

I was ,and I will today ,the lights are always bright and when it was below zero it never failed to start ,that's why I never suspected the battery or alt. Thanks

I loaded the battery ,it stayed in the green about 300 ,and the alt was right on 14 volts on my Milton tester ? I almost think it's a bad connection but I am not sure where to start ,it does not do it everyday ,but something I did notice, it was not doing it and when it starts to do it I can hear the whine in my speakers like you used to when you had non- resistor sparky plugs ?

Belt tight? Good ground?

All the grounds are tight ,in fact when the tranny was out we hooked up the on that goes to the tranny housing

check for AC Voltage on your DVOM (digital volt ohm meter) instead of just DC voltage.

the diode pack in your alt could be bad .

anything over .05v AC ( i think ) one or more diodes could be bad. (new alt)
