Tail light help (brake light)

Hello all!

I have a weird issue. I noticed that my passenger tail light is not getting "brighter" when the brake pedal is applied. Both other brake lights get brighter, but the one doesnt.

I thought at first that it was just the bulb, but I bought a new bulb and had the same issue. I even switched the light from the drivers side to the passengers side and visa versa, yet the passenger tail light remains at the "driving brightness" and will not get brighter with the aplication of the brake!

Please let me know what wiring to check.....

try looking at the wiring harness on the back side of that light assembly and check that socket for rust and corrosion
