My friend did this dropping shifter fix to my festiva, but he tightened the bolt all the way down instead of double nutting it, would this be why my tranny will not go all the way into 2nd gear?

Thank you genevadirt, I bought this tranny from a member on here and dont think he would sell me a bad tranny, he said it worked great in his festiva and Ibelieve him. I Just am baffled why it would go in 1st,3rd,4th,5th with no problems but act like ther is just not enough throw to get it al the way into second.Comment
