Clutch cable removal questions

My clutch cable broke in traffic and I had the fun of driving it home without being able to stop. I didn't mind the challenge but I did mind having to replace it as I have never messed with this part.

1. Does the grommet on the firewall just pop out?

2. Any tricks or things I need to know?

Grommet has 2 little tabs to push. IIRC. Call me if you need any help.
