auto 93 out and standard 93 in??? engine swap??

I have a parts car with a real good engine and my current engine is running fine but leaks oil real bad from a few places....

I have 223 000 k on mine and 40 000 on the parts car so it is like new!!

befor I get into this possible swap are there any issues with swapping auto , manual ???

No the engines are the same and its an easy swap.

+1 The only issues you might have, are how the distribs are set up depending on "what" donated that 1.3 engine. The later aspires have an internal "coil" on the distrib and a crank position sensor mounted near the pully, this isn't a big problem because you can just reuse your distrib. I'm just mentioning that because I know you wanted to use all of the newer parts on the newer engine is all.

^^Title says both engines are 93's. They are identical, no problems/issues.

I thought I remembered reading on this site that the donor vehicle had to supply its wiring harness and fuel tank to transplant FI into a carb'd vehicle.
