The hoses have been removd from the EGR valve. That's the device to the back left below the air cleaner. The thing with the two holes on the right of the air cleaner is what Ford calls the pulse air system and as near as I can figure out it does the same as the EGR. If you don't have emissions testing in Jamaica you don't need them but as the fellow says the holes should be plugged.
The paint job looks pretty good.

My hot air settings to clear up windshield when it rains

Should this be zip strapped enclosed with some grease inside?

      What are these A, B & C

      whats this one too

      a better look

Bypass wiring layout for the Radiator Fan, one wire to the negative of the battery and the other to where you turn on the car, not start the engine but turn on the power.

a closer look at the wires

Am thinking of connecting the wires like this, please tell me if am wrong

am gonna get a multimeter soon.

          A : I'm not sure
          B : is a test conector
C : is a relay, not sure what for
          This one too : I haven't a clue

Your fan route looks ok, after rewiring make sure the fan temp switch on engine is working otherwise it won't come on when needed, ( probably bad, thus the reason for the toggle switch )

Over all the wiring don't look that bad to me, mostly out of place, here's a photo of an 88 that's never been messed with

A:Is the white wire that goes to the little fuse block on the strut tower and then goes to the alt.
              B: Is a ground block
C: Looks like it is the coolant fan relay or could be the head light relay.

It's a bit conjested with vac hoses, I own this car, so I can take more photos anytime.

get yourself a DVOM (digital volt ohm meter) and see what kind of voltage you're getting at the battery when the engine is running, then when you have all the accessories turned on (lights, wipers, radio etc.) voltage at battery should never get below 13.4VDC
Got myself a Multimeter, when the car is off the Battery reads 12.68V, when i start the car with all the lights, radio on, it reads 11.98V, then i went to the Alternator and the readings from 2.2 - 2.5 V

Alt is DED (dead), replace with newer unit from 323 or capri. just have to add either the correct pigtail for the new alt to the factory harness, OR i think Scott (batstiva) is still running my quick fix i did from last year. i'll PM him for pix.
