pfft i just want to smash the cover not the whole thing john
work with me here lol
so being serious what exactly do i need and how the bloody crap does this thing come off?
The pillar is held in place by metal clips, which if you are careful can be easily pried off.
The A pillar cover, assuming that is what you are referring to, runs from the lower windshield, up to the top of the door opening down the B pillar behind the front seats, so should properly be called the AB pillar cover.
Best bet is go to a JY and pop off one there before attempting to do yours.
If not start at the bottom of the B pillar behind the front seat and carefully pry up on the plastic, doing both sides of the piece at time same time will help the clip to pop out without breaking anything.
After the first on is out the rest pop out pretty easily.
Good luck!

I am guessing he has a pre '90 and it has manual seat belts, so there wouldn't be an automatic seat belt cover.
