Hi to all. Im hoping anyone here can help me with the problem of my front wheel., The hub keeps coming loose. Firstly my car is a 1997 LX Kia Pride, just got it 3 weeks ago. I brought it to hte mechanic to fis the front susdpension components. We repalced the front left side shock absorber and ball jonit. He told me to get an alignment job also. After the left front wheel wag aligned we immediately saw the whell loose when it was held & tested, he jus tigtened the nut on the cv joint & told me that if ever it comes loose again we should replacxe the bearings. In short it came loose again but upon inspecting the hub at the machine shop the technician told us to have the hub reparied so it went through repairs but upon using the car for just a day the wheel came loose again. Its driving me nuts just to go back for repairs. Has anyone here experienced it? What culd be the possibel cause that the hubs comes to loose easily. In dire need of help. Thanks

Sounds to me like the mechanics may not be using the right technique for setting the front bearing preload. Or it could be out of spec parts?
I'd purchase a factory shop manual and have the best mechanic or automotive machine shop you can find use the book's instructions to redo the bearings and check for quality.
If you want to fix this yourself, go to a junkyard and get another knuckle/hub assembly that looks like it's in good shape, to swap in. I'm not sure if they have to be installed in pairs, though.
If you can find a Kia Avella in the 'yard, do the "Aspire suspension/brake swap." That would make your time even more worthwhile.
