alright i have a 92 ford festiva automatic ran great transmission went out of it so i put a new 1 in again and i was tightening up the bolts for the radiator straps when 1 strips no big deal i put a self tapping screw in there and proceeded working well i went to put my Neg on my battery and sparks fly i think what the heck and i pull all of my fuses still does it so i finally figure out the self tapping screw shorted out the solid white wire on my wiring harness and now my fuel pump wont kick on and i cant get any fire i dont know what is the problem im checked my fuse links and fuses all good help please....

my first thought is the fuel pump reset in the trunk area - right behind the rear seat, drivers' side. Press the little red button. Next would be fuses - can't think right off which one controls fuel pump - maybe labeled "cabin" or "room" ? I remember it sounding rather odd to me... -
