Where are you getting motor mounts for 1988 Festivas? My Grand Daughters Festiva has a broken one and her tech can't find one. I'm 50 miles away and its cold, so I'm out off the equation except for the $$$.

    Track73,

We have members all over the US and many in other countries.
It would help us help you if we knew your location and maybe your grand daughters so that we can determine if someone is close by and has the part or can get her the part in a reasonable time frame.

Go to User CP (top of the Page in the blue bar)
    Control Panel(left side of screen)
Edit Profile-scroll to bottom of page to location.

More info would be useful as well such as which motor mount.

You can try Rockauto.com to see if they have one.

Autozone doesn't stock them, but at least my local one can get one next day. Same story with Advance Auto Parts but its a two day turn around for them. One thing to note, on the AZ site list the passenger side engnie mount and the front transmission mount as motor mounts, but it lists the rear transmission mount as a transmission mount.

Which mount is needed? There are three, one on the passenger side top of the engine, and two on the bottom of the transmission, one on the front and one on the back. Knowing which mount is needed may help someone closer by locate one for you. BTW the Autozone site lists them all for $19.99 each.
        No festiva for me ATM...

Autozone has a screen in their store computor that shows an overhead view diagram of the Festy motor showing the three motor mounts with their numbers. Gotta get the right clerk.

Update: Partstrain has: Transaxle mounts for $9.36 & Passenger-side Engine Mount for $9.46. I could not find the the Front Engine Mount, although I did get mine thru them for around $10.

The Front Engine Mount is the one that fails first, followed by the Transaxle Mount. I have never seen or heard of the Passenger-side Engine Mount failing.
