  • Festiva (Aspire) Computer system compatability

Hi guys i have a 95 Festiva and I want to know are the newer model Festivas Computers compatible?
Will the 1999 computer fit and work on the 1995?
The reason is these computers are better and they are obdii compliant aparantly.

    Thanx guys!
    Fun and Festy!

The only way to switch a non-obdII car over to obdII would be to transfer all sensors and wiring as well as the computer.
Wiring would include the complete harness as well, different vehicles have items in the display that are part of the system as well.
Alot of work for what little you would gain.

honestly I don't believe the computers are superior. I've had 3 non-OBDII aspire and two OBDII aspires and the pre-OBDII ones were far more reliable, powerful, and fuel efficient.
