  • What's the torque specs of the CV shaft huge nut up front.

    The title said it all.

Whats the Helms book say about it?

I guess the title missed for what car. For the SHO in the picture?

I can check the manual when I get home.

        Its for my shogun.

        In details:

Since im using the festiva susp. on my shogun , I replaced all the bearings on the front , but since Theres no more engine/shafts , I need something to squeeze them tight , like the CV shaft were in place.

So I made something with a big bolt and washers through the hub hole. to keep everyting together.

So hence the question , how much I need to tight this puppy.

Cut up some old axles and use the stubs. They seriously have like a 150ft/lb torque spec. Run em down and stake em.
