Hydraulic Lash Adjuster

I have a noisy one after the car sits for a few days. It quiets down after the engine warms up. I would appreciate any tips from someone who has fixed one of these. It's in a 91 Festy with 250K miles. Are they even available?

Wait a minute. I thought the Festiva had manual lash adjustment.

I believe only the carb'd models were manual. Cause my 92 had noisy lash adjusters, so i swaped in good lash adjusters from my 93.

I'd do an e-bay search for some, but a member might have some on here.

I saw them on Autozones website recently. They are somewhere around $12.00 I think. You just take off the rocker arm and pull out the bad ones and replace with new. Kind of tricky putting the rocker back in. Take your time.

or you could try throwing in some seafoam about 500 miles before your next oil change.

partsgeek.com has them for about 70 a set I believe , a lot cheaper then auto zone. But yes they are available new.
