  • b6t rebuild kit

    I've been searching all over for a FULL rebuild kit for a b6t and cannot find one. All I can find is a re-ring kit. I want bearings rings and pistions and all new gaskets. Anybody know of a reputable company who has a kit like this?

            Ok its working now. Thanks guys. And I'm planning on running 14 lbs of boost should I stay with stock compression or bup the compression up and drop some boost pressure?

              Couple of the Capri guys run the 9.4:1 block on 16 psi all day long.
              91GL BP/F3A with boost
              13.79 @ 100, 2.2 60' on 8 psi and 155R12's

                wow its a dd so im gunna put the bov at 10 psi then move it to 14 to 16 ish for the track

                  Get a rocketchip ecu for it too unless u r going to run ms. That will allow u to run 18lbs no problems. That's what mine does at the track and keep it around stock 9lbs for dd.

                    I used a miata rebuild kit.
                    Current cars:

                    1993 Ford Festiva 5-Speed - Festiclese III - Cousin of the Banhammer - "The Jalopnik Car"
                    1984 Toyota Cressida - 2JZGE Swap, Turbocharged.
                    2013 Mazda Mazda2 - Exhaust and Wheels (the daily)
                    2002 Toyota Tundra - V6/Auto/2WD - The Tow Vehicle.

                      i ran my b6t on stock ecu with 330cc probe injectors on 16 psi as a dd with no problems from the engine...
                      I know its a piece of crap but im still faster...and its 100% legal!!!!!

                        I wasant sure if a miata kit would work bc I wasant sure if the rings where different? What year miata? Is it the mx5?

                              Ebay is a good place to fill in the gaps, but they have pretty much everything you're asking for in one capacity or another.

                              If you're set on replacing the pistons, bumping the compression is a good idea, but only if you're heart-set on running at least two of the following: upgraded intercooler, highest octane possible, and alcohol/water injection.

                              A blow-off valve... I think you mean a collaborative effort between the wastegate and the manual boost controller. You'll need a chip.

                              Yeah MX-5 Miata... ensure it says 1.6L and/or 1990-1993 and you should be golden.
