  • Escort Window Regulator in Festiva??

Nearest pick-n-pull is about 45 minutes away for me. I'd like to verify for sure that this will work before driving out there and back.

Will the escort window regulator work without major revamping in a ford festiva?

I know CrazyRog17 used an escort regulator in a 323, but that is a different car than the festiva.

If it would be a direct bolt in, great. If not, I'll probably have to go online. From pictures online they look pretty identical....... but without holding them side by side, its hard to tell for sure.

    Thanks everyone!

Yes, it would be hard to tell without a side to side comparison. My guess is they won't interchange, but I could be wrong. If anything from different model Mazda would fit, you'd think a 323/Escort part might work.

If you are having trouble raising and lowering your window, try spraying and wiping some Silicone lube all in your window tracks and that black fuzzy wipe at the door top. DaveG showed me that trick and it really helps make rolling windows up and down easier.

Ah, just read through your other post. Something's broken. You might take your Festiva regulator to a 'yard and compare right there before you buy. Tell the nice junkyard guys what you are taking in for comparison purposes. They may wish to mark it for you.

You might also try an Aspire regulator. Could work, I suppose??

aspires won't work directly, they'd need 2 new holes at the sloder and 3 holes for the crank. besides that, the angle is a bit off too.
