        Thanks! That sounds about right. I think I'm going to go with removing as much rust as I can then riveting some sheet metal on both sides, painting etc.

          I got the carpet out and am looking things over. I've decided to repair the floor and appreciate all the input. I bought my Camptiva new in '91. I have driven it to work for years as the gas goes up. Only have drivers seat in it cause no one will drive in it except Bear my black lab. I have 3/4' plywood over the rest inside. Then thick carpet. I camp all over Michigan. Nice. The Freetiva floor/pan project is coming along nicely. Thanks to all.
