Anything will fit... with enough work. I tried fitting one off of a 2 door Aspire on one of my old festivas and it was gonna take too much re-fabrication to be worth it. And the 4 doors I'm sure are nowhere close.
Ya, sorry I didnt do a search regarding this...... I was in the car on the way back from the JunkYard....... I could NOT get the damn struts off the Aspire so they are taking them off for me...... I figured if I found out quickly (and I knew someone on here might know) that I could call and tel them to remove the exhaust cat back while its up in the air.
I'll say forget it on the exhaust for now...... I just want the struts
I jumped on the rearend of the Aspire, seems much stiffer than my festiva! Should help alleviate my tire rubbage!
Struts looked in good shape, but the bolts were rusted and me not having the correct socket or air tools didn't help. Cracked myself in the face pretty good with the wrench..... so I gave up. They are taking them off now and I'll go back to pick them up tomorrow...

Ouch!
I have a 1 1/2 inch scar on my left arm from trying to remove one of the struts from an Aspire. My Craftsman rachet broke, my arm smacked the sharp edge of the inner fenderwell. I DIDNT give up! It wasnt going to beat me! :p
It was a miserable day, started raining as soon as I got there, the Missouri gumbo mud turned so slick, I could barely stand without falling, like on ice. I broke my rachet, gouged my arm. Bleeding, I walked up to the guy in the yard, borrowed his breaker bar, and went back for more punishment!
But I have 4 like new struts all around now. I am I stubborn or what!

We were well on our way to getting them all out........ but we ditched out for a long lunch break from work, and its a good 30 minutes away..... so enough was enough... had to get back to work.
Figure, I'll let them dick with it They started at $100 and I got them down to $75 for all 4 struts, not too bad I suppose.
The lot was all snow and ice..... they had a neat setup. They would lift the car up on to some i-beams using a forklift...... basically set the car up there for you to work below it.
One "auto recycler" wanted $75 PER strut... CRAZY!!!!!!!!
Ouch!
