The only Aspire suspension differences involved an available antilock brake system. They were pretty rare, as I have never seen one in a 'yard. If you were to run across one, chances are you could still use most of the parts though.

The 97 Aspire I have (and am stripping out) has ABS. There are toothed discs around each driveaxle and sensors attached to each wheel. Most of what is going on is within the electrically driven plumbing block with pump located on the firewall just below the brake master cylinder. Hopefully all that extra stuff can be dispensed with when it is bolted onto a Festiva.
